Hello. Welcome to my design portfolio.

My name is Jingyu. I am a UX designer based in SF bay area. I have passion in designing simple and delightful experience to improve people's day-to-day life. When I am not designing, I enjoy photography, would take my camera with me to capture some landscape photos in the nature or portraits of people stories.

I am currently working at Google focusing on building user trust for Android. Below are a few key product stories that I'd like to share:

• Created design for privacy dashboard and privacy indicator to improve the transparency of data usage in Android, which was launched as a big announcement in Google I/O 2021. 
• Partnered with Apple and health authorities, led the design on Android side to use privacy-preserving technology on Contact Tracing of COVID 19 to save lives and avert cases. 
• Revamped Android/Pixel's Settings as part of the Material You effort.
• Designed Pixel’s Car Crash Detection feature, which is launched in 2019 on Pixel 4. It recently saved an unconscious man from being trapped in an overturned vehicle for hours. This is one of those moments that reminds me why I am passionate about design :)
